nice and chill

short, loopable, perfect for flash use.

staticnoise responds:

awsome. thanks!

weird

those bells (i think they're bells) are interesting, and i think i can see what you're tryin to do there, but it sounds like a couple of the notes are really out of place. maybe it's just me and i can't pick out what key its in :)

definitely ambient. not bad at all

Gillenium responds:

mmmm pork soda

definitely ambient :)

as far as ambient goes, this pretty much covers it. parts definitely reminded me of a track from the Fallout 2 soundtrack. If you haven't played Fallout, you should do so just for the audio.

LJCoffee responds:

Thanks!

Fallout was a great game - Fallout 2 as well - I'll take that as a compliment!

yep

it's quite nice
where are the choir samples from?

Skabbish responds:

thanks, its sampled off an old swedish church choir record

mellow and then what the fuck phat

i really dig this tune.
i love the dirty ass drum beat that comes in halfway through the song. the intro is also nicely chill.
awesome. good stuff.

Yeah that drum beat..I was using Acid 3.0 for like the second time ever and the arp in the song just made me wanna pee my pants. I put this traack on an album (CD-R) and it was one of the best tracks on there, and to this day it still holds its own in comparison to my more advanced stuff.

Thanks for the review.

Evolution of Sound...

P.S. I actually had to shorten this track to fit it into NG!

loved it

very chill.
i like how at no point does it turn into some overwhelming hardcore bass breakbeat to balance out its smoothness.

LJCoffee responds:

Thanks again! - this was an experiment put together late one night and although I really dig fast breaks - D&B - that sort of thing - I wanted to keep this a little more jazzy - so far I'm pretty happy with the results.

Thanks for the 10's! you made my day!

like AaronR said

i really like the feel of the tune, but as soon as the piano came in it felt a little forced. i'd love to hear this after muting the piano track and not adding anything in its place.

keep adding stuff to the portal, it's good 8)

LJCoffee responds:

Cool - I'm currently reworking this - I got another review that was about the same - I guess the piano isn't working very well in this piece - Check back in a week or two (or three) though - by then (if I can force my lazy ass to actually do it) I should have a second version up.

this is quality shit

i am impressed.
sounds like something off Ventolin by aphex twin.

LJCoffee responds:

Thanks! I'll take that as the highest of compliments!

I really appreciate the review.

good loop for an action/fight scene.

DJRunaway responds:
